Non-Destructive Testing Society (Singapore) was established in 1997 as a not-for-profit voluntary organisation to serve the local NDT professionals and Industry.
The Society has continuously engaged in providing the latest information on technical developments to the local community through conferences, meetings and technical talks.
SINCE 2027 is the sixth in the series of international conferences and exhibitions held in Singapore in 2011, 2013, 2019, 2022 and 2025.
This iteration of the Singapore International Non-destructive Testing Conference and Exhibition (SINCE2027) organised by the Non-Destructive Testing Society Singapore (NDTSS) will take place at the Marina Bay Sands Exhibition and Convention Centre on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th March 2027. SINCE2027 will be co-located with the Quantitative Infrared Thermography Asia Conference (QIRT Asia 2027).
The conference includes a technical programme that will present the latest research and technology developments as well as practical applications of NDT in all major industrial areas. The technical programme will feature keynote presentations from internationally-renowned industry leaders. The associated exhibition will emphasise the close links between research and development and the equipment and instruments used in the industry.
SINCE2027 aims to provide a unique opportunity to establish contacts and exchange experience, new developments and ideas with local, regional and international delegates from a wide range of expertise.
The next generation of industrial production and product lifecycle management encompasses the complete networking of all industry areas (Industry 4.0). NDT has to follow these trends by not only adapting NDT techniques to new technologies such as additive manufacturing, but also by introducing the capabilities of cyber systems into the inspection and maintenance processes.
The conference theme “The Silent Guardian: Ensuring Infrastructure Safety and Sustainability with Next-Gen NDE” encompasses these developments.
SINCE2027 welcomes original contributions from practicing NDT professionals, engineers, scientists and developers in academia, research and industry (manufacturers, suppliers, service providers and end-users) on any aspect of non-destructive testing and evaluation.
In 2019 the third iteration of the SINCE series was held in conjunction with the 2nd World Congress on Condition Monitoring. In 2027, for this sixth iteration the conference will be co-located with the 6th Asian Quantitative Infrared Thermography Conference.
